Rhythms of Heritage: A Dance Tribute to Black History Month - Sykesville Edition

Join us for a vibrant and soul-stirring show as we celebrate Black History Month with "Rhythms of Heritage," a dance show designed to amplify Black artists and joyously commemorate this significant month. The Sykesville edition - a prelude to the February 25th show in Westminster - promises an enchanting experience on February 18th @ 3 pm at the beautifully renovated Acts - Fairhaven venue for Sykesville residents and visitors.

Curated and orchestrated by the talented Laurie Dodge, owner of Project C Studios, this event is not just a dance show; it's a powerful homage to the impact of Black artistry on our cultural landscape. "Rhythms of Heritage" brings together a tapestry of dance performances that reflect the richness and diversity of Black history and its profound influence on the arts.

Sykesville residents and fans are invited to this condensed version of the Westminster show, offering an up-close experience with the dynamism and spirit of Black artistic expression, with the support of our partner, ATCS, offering their newly renovated space for the event.

This event is a testament to the values of inclusion, togetherness, and recognition of the indelible mark left by Black artists in our world. It's an opportunity for us all to come together, learn, appreciate, and celebrate the enduring legacy and ongoing contributions of Black culture.

Be part of the celebration and the cause, as we honor Black History Month in a way that resonates with our hearts and our community spirit.
