The Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) warmly invites you to support this year’s Sykesville Happy-Thon Holiday event. What started in 2015 as an initiative to support 14 families from our community has grown tremendously over the past ten years, thanks to your incredible generosity. Through your kindness, we’ve been able to assist more families in need, as identified by the caring counselors at Piney Ridge Elementary and Sykesville Middle School.
In 2024, we proudly raised $15,881, which allowed us to provide gifts and warm clothing to 65 children, spreading joy and making the holiday season special for each of them. Thanks to this campaign, extra funds went directly to supporting Sykesville Middle School students go on field trips. Now, as we enter the 10th edition of the Happy-Thon, our commitment to uplifting the community remains as strong as ever.
The campaign culminates in a heartwarming celebration, where gifts are distributed alongside treats, smiles, and a special visit from Santa Claus on the porch of the Townhouse. It’s a magical day for both the children and everyone involved, as we come together to make a meaningful difference.
With your continued support, we’re confident we can surpass last year’s efforts and help even more families in 2025. Your contributions do more than just provide presents; they foster a sense of belonging and emotional connection for children who may otherwise go without, reinforcing the bonds that make our community so special.
