Where Many Hats and Big Heart Make Downtown Magic

This holiday season, we’re raising a glass to one of Downtown Sykesville’s most spirited champions: Patapsco Distilling Company, proudly owned and operated by Scott & Dana Jendrek. Scott started the distillery in 2015, opening its doors in April of 2017. Dana took over the day-to-day operations in November of 2019.  Dana is far more than the creative force behind the premium spirits crafted right here in town—she’s one of the driving engines behind our Main Street’s momentum.

Running a distillery is no small task—but Dana somehow manages to do that and support local businesses, contribute to big-picture planning, and help the DSC create the kind of Main Street magic that makes people want to linger a little longer. Many hats, lots of heart—Dana wears both exceptionally well.
