The Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) warmly invites you to be part of the 10th Annual Sykesville Happy-Thon Holiday event—a cherished community tradition built on generosity, compassion, and the spirit of giving.

What began in 2015 as a small initiative to support 14 families in need has grown into a powerful movement of kindness. Over the past decade, your support has helped us expand our reach and assist more families, identified by the dedicated counselors at Piney Ridge Elementary and Sykesville Middle School.

💜 Our Impact Together

In 2024 alone, we proudly raised $15,881, which allowed us to:

• Provide gifts and warm clothing for 65 children
• Give each child's family a gift card for groceries

• Support Sykesville Middle School students with field trips, creating opportunities for learning and growth

Each contribution doesn’t just bring material gifts—it brings hope, joy, and a sense of belonging to children and families in our community.

The Happy-Thon culminates in a heartwarming celebration each holiday season. Children receive their gifts alongside festive treats, big smiles, and a magical visit from Santa Claus on the porch of the Townhouse. For many, this is the highlight of the season—a reminder that they are seen, loved, and supported by their community.
